To all prospective FUNAAB Aspirants (i.e jambites), today, I will be
sharing with you on how to Calculate your composites for
admission, though you might not need it now But you will need it after
your Post-Utme Examination so as to know how well to prepare for your
post utme and your chances of being admitted after the Post-Utme
examination.
How To Calculate Your Composite Score.
* Your jamb score is divided by 8.
* Your o'levels (Main 5 subjects) grades are rated as:
A1: 6
B2: 5
B3: 4
C4: 3
C5: 2
C6: 1.
They are all added together and then multiplied by
2/3.
* Your post utme score is multiplied by 0.3.
Lets take for instance Taiwo a Science student who
scored 180 in jamb. Dividing 180 by 8= 22.5 .
O'levls grade:
Eng B2-5 points,
Maths B3-4 points,
Bio A1-6 points,
Chem C4-3 points,
Physics B3- 4 points.
All together 22, multiplied by
2/3= 14.7
post-utme: 52, 52 multiplied by 0.3= 15.6
His composites will be 22.5+14.7+15.6=52.8.
He has a very good chance of being admitted and
gaining admission, though there is no particular cut off mark for
composites score.
*Post Utme Subjects Combination:
For Science/Agric;
English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
For Management Science:
English, Mathematics, Economics.
Ask your questions, we would reply you.
