Swearing In Of The Newly Elected Excos Of FUNAAB For 2014/2015 Academic Session.

The Swearing in Of The New Student Union Excos for the 2014/2015
Session took place
at Mahmood Hall yesterday 22nd of October, with His Royal Majesty
Olowu of Owu, The Vice Chancellor, the Dean Students Affairs, The Now
Immediate Past Excos led by P.kennie, some Staff of the School, the
Newly Elected
Principal officers of the Students
Representative Assembly and some students Present at the Event.

The turn out at the event was low due to the fact that the Swearing In
was organised during
the break, it had to be organised so there wouldn't be Vacuum of Power
before the 2014/2015 Session resumes.

The Event kicked off immediately His Royal Majesty Olowu of Owu
arrived at the Venue, who was invited to the Swearing In by Holar
Holar, a Son of Owu Kingdom.

The Dean students Affairs was the 1st to give a Speech followed by
P.kennie. Holar Holar gave his first speech, he reiterated the Plan of
his led Students Union to
cooperate with the Management.
In his speech: "The union will cooperate with the management at all
cost provided a student friendly environment is enabled."
He also sounded a warning to the
Management, stating that
"The union will also not take it likely with the school authority, if
they aggrandized any glory to herself at the detriment of the
students invokes."

After Holar Holar's speech, the Vc was called upon to give the Newly
Elected Excos their Certificate of Office.

The Vc before Presenting the Certificate of Office to the Excos, said:
"P.Kennie set a record by becoming the first SUG president to get
married in office, I hope
The new president will not follow him." This got everyone cracked up.

The Vc had this to say about Loco(Former SUG President of the Student
Union): "After his NYSC, LOCO will be employed by the
management, because Loco respects the past two excos and he wants the
best for his
students,

Loco loves FUNAAB students, he has been motivational".
He said to the Newly Elected Excos: "Whatever you need to work during
this administration, get me informed, it will be made available."

He added that:
"It is time to know that meaning of 'aluta' is not progress, because
the Dean student Affairs as a student leader when he was in UI
was rusticated for one year, so you should not do anything to be rusticated."

The VC while Presenting the Speaker of the House said:
"The speaker and the President must work together for a better union".

Hollar Hollar met the speaker with a hug as there is an uproar in the
audience... Affirming what the VC says about them working
together.
