The West Africa Examination Council, WAEC has released its May/June
2014 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
results, recording mass failure in Mathematics and English Language.
Announcing the results, Monday, at WAEC office, Yaba, the Head of
National Office, WAEC, Mr. Charles Eguridu said: "A total of 529,425
candidates, representing 31.28%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects
and above, including English Language and Mathematics."
He noted that when compared to the 2012 and 2013 May/June WASSCE
diets, there was marginal decline in the performance of candidates as
38: 81 per cent was recorded in 2012 and 36.57 per cent in 2013.
Eguridu who disclosed that the results of 145,795 candidates,
representing 8.61%, are being withheld in connection with various
types of examination malpractice said, "The cases are being
investigated and the reports of the investigations will be presented
in November to the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC)."
According to him, out of 1,692,435 candidates that sat for the
examination, 791,227 candidates, representing 46.75%, obtained 6
credits and above, just as a total of 982,472 candidates representing
58.05%, obtained 5 credits and above.
In addition, he stated that 1,148,262 candidates, representing 67.84
%, obtained credits and above in 4 subjects, while 1,293,389
candidates, representing 76.42%, obtained credits and above in 3
subjects.

WAEC Result Checker located at www.waedirect.org is the online
result-checking portal for WAEC May/June and Nov/Dec Examinations.
Year 1991 through 2007, 2010, 2012 to 2013 and 2014 results can be
checked on this checking-portal.
Candidates who have taken part int any WAEC examination from 1991 till
date (2014) can find their exam results on this result-checker. You
need a scratch card to access your result on the WAEC Result checker.
Steps On How To Check Your Result.
* The WAEC Result-checker is located at www.waecdirect.org, visit the portal.
* Fill in the following information just as in the screenshot above —
Examination Number (10 digits), Examination Year , Type of
Examination (May/June or November/December (private)), Scratch Card
Serial Number and PIN.
* Finally, Submit and wait for the results window to come up.
The 2014 WAEC Result (May/June) has been released but not yet
available on the result checker. You should keep checking back on the
portal.

I went on line yesterday to check my waec result and i failed my English,i had to contact Mr Dele in the waec office if he can help me, and i was ask to send my waec details then today he told me to check the result again and to my greatest surprise i checked and the English was upgraded to B, i thank the all mighty God for leading me to this good Man and in case you need help to upgrade your waec i advice you to call Mr Dele with this number: +2348154128442

wow... am so happy, I thougt all hope was lost. I really do appreciate Mr. Andrew for a job well done. this is making it the 3rd time am writting my SSCE. Ever since I have been writing my exams, I always have problem with my English, Maths and Chemistry. recently I wrote this 2014 waec, my English and Maths where still bad. I was so confues, thinking all hope is lost. one faithful morning I decided to go to net, to my grated suprise, I saw so many people thanking Mr. Andrew for helping them to upgrade thier result, release withheld result.
