The Niger Delta Youth Council and National Youth Council of Nigeria
has appeal to the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of
Polytechnics (ASUP) to call-off the strike in the interest of Nigerian
Youths.
This was contained in a communique signed by the National Coordinator
of NDYC, Comr. Jator Abido and Amb Comr. Hope George Vice President
South-South.
NYCN, noted that the continued staying of the Students at home is
dangerous to the security of Nigeria.
The group also lamented that as a matter of urgency the Government
should review the Nigeria education system and policies to meet up
with that of the developed countries in the world.
